What cause areas or domains are you focusing on?

Do you fund individuals?
We generally fund 501(c)(3) organizations or their international equivalents. However, individuals intending to set up a charity are welcome to apply, and for exceptional applications, we may provide support for setting up a legal entity or working with a fiscal sponsor.
What is your vetting process and how long does it take?
The entire process may take up to three (3) months, depending on the complexity of the proposal.
Can we submit multiple proposals?
We advise that you only submit the proposal you are most excited to work on.
Will you inform us if our application is rejected?
Yes, you will receive an update regarding your application via email.
Do you provide feedback on our application?
Due to the volume of applications we receive, we regret that we are unable to provide specific feedback. We may provide some feedback on applications that make it to the latter stage of the application process.
Can we apply again after a rejection?
Yes, you may apply again after 12 months if there are significant changes to your application.
How much funding can we request?
We give grants between $10,000 and $250,000. We may decide to approve a bigger amount for exceptional applications and where a bigger budget is warranted. Because we care a lot about cost-effectiveness, we look at how much potential impact your proposal can deliver for every dollar that you are requesting.
When is the deadline for submission?
Our call for proposals is always open, so you may apply anytime.
